A few weeks ago, we shared that we were on the hunt for a venue to call home. Today, we’re absolutely thrilled to announce that the search is over.
Starting Thursday, 30th July 2026, Sugar Hill Hop will be running weekly classes at the Denning Café, Saw Swee Hock Student Centre, 1 Sheffield Street, London WC2A 2AP – right in the heart of the LSE Students’ Union.
This has been a journey that’s taken several months of conversations, paperwork, and patience, but we couldn’t be happier with where we’ve landed. The Saw Swee Hock Student Centre is a vibrant, central London space that embodies exactly the kind of energy and community spirit we were looking for in a home. Being part of LSESU feels like a genuinely exciting partnership, and we’re grateful to Freya, Michael, and the whole events team there for their support in making this happen.
Classes will run every Thursday evening, 7-9pm, through to December 2026, with sessions for dancers of all levels – whether you’re brand new to the dance floor or looking to take your social dancing to the next level.
We’ll be sharing more details soon, including how to sign up, what to expect from your first class, and everything you need to know about the venue itself. Watch this space!
In the meantime, if you have any questions or just want to say hello, you can always reach us at [email protected].
See you on the dance floor. 🎶
